Horizon Flight School is a Part 61 school offering individualized training leading to
the following certificates and ratings in the airplane category and single engine land class.

In addition we offer the following:

Flight Reviews ... Aircraft Check-outs ... Tailwheel Endorsements ... High Performance Endorsements ... Complex Endorsements

Although not part of our normal business, we have an affiliate who can give aerobatic training in a Pitts S2B.

Horizon Flight School has the following aircraft for training purposes at the stated rates.

Cessna 152 $75.00/hr Primary/Instrument/Rental

Cessna 172 $110.00/hr Primary/Instrument/Rental

Cessna 140 $75.00/hr Tailwheel Endorsement/Rental

Cessna 182RG $160.00/hr Commercial/Instrument/Complex/High Perf./Rental

Flight instructor rates are $25/hr for Private Pilot and $35/hr for Advanced ratings and certificates

An optional Private Pilot Ground School is offered as an 18 hour course presented over a 6 week period. The cost is $250. The student is expected to purchase his/her own study materials. This will cost from $100 to $300 and up depending upon the company offering the package and the completeness of the package. (ie., does it include training CDs, does it include an electronic calculator, etc.)

Other miscellaneous expenses include medical exams, fees for written and practical exams, maps and charts, etc.
